Disney+ announced the date at San Diego Comic-Con in July 2026: season 3 premieres on November 20, 2026. The eight episodes arrive weekly. The previous season arrived on December 10, 2025, so the gap is a little under a year.

Which book is season 3 based on?

Each season follows one book. Season 1 covered The Lightning Thief, season 2 The Sea of Monsters, and season 3 The Titan's Curse. In the book, Annabeth disappears, and Percy and Grover set out to find her while the Oracle of Delphi delivers a Great Prophecy that will decide the fate of Olympus. Walker Scobell has said it is the most faithful season to its book so far.

Should you read The Titan's Curse before watching?

You do not need to. The book is the third of five in the original series, and it is a good one to read if you want to know where the season goes. The ending of the book is not covered here.
