About Tori Books

Tori Books is a book guide for readers who want to know what a book is like before they pick it up. Each book page gives a short summary, who it is for, the mood and pace, the story behind how the book was written, and links for further reading.

What you will find here

Pages for more than a thousand books and their authors, plus series pages that show the reading order. Facts such as awards and publication dates come from public sources, and each “Behind the book” note links to its source.

How the site earns money

Tori Books is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. Book pages link to Amazon, and if you buy through those links we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Our summaries and notes are written the same way whether or not a book is linked. Details are on the affiliate disclosure page.
