TV series · 2019– · Created by Lauren Schmidt Hissrich · Starring Henry Cavill, Anya Chalotra
A monster hunter wanders a fantasy land and tangles with princes, sorceresses and a young girl with a strange fate.
The first season adapts the short stories with a time-jumping structure and adds scenes that were only hinted at on the page.
The book is a set of short tales and a good starting point for the saga.
The Last Wish by Andrzej Sapkowski
A fun, atmospheric introduction to a world of monsters and clever choices.
Who will like it: Readers who like dark, witty fantasy told in short stories.
