Film · 2001 · Directed by Chris Columbus · Starring Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson
An orphan learns on his eleventh birthday that he is a wizard and goes to a school of magic.
It follows the book scene by scene and keeps most of its humor. Only a few small episodes are left out.
Starting with the novel is a joy, since it is the easiest way into the whole series.
