Tim Ferriss argues against working for decades to retire, and calls his alternative lifestyle design
Crown Publishing Group published the book in 2007, and it runs to 308 pages. It promotes what Ferriss calls lifestyle design and rejects the traditional plan of working long hours for decades to enjoy life after retirement. It draws on his experience running a sports nutrition company, where he worked 14-hour days before taking a sabbatical and outsourcing small daily tasks to virtual assistants. It was translated into 40 languages.
