Sheryl Sandberg's Lean In encourages women to assert themselves at work and at home
Alfred A. Knopf published Sheryl Sandberg's Lean In: Women, Work, and the Will to Lead in 2013. Sandberg co-wrote it with Nell Scovell, and it has eleven chapters. Their topics include the leadership ambition gap, taking opportunities and speaking up, how workplace likeability is judged differently by gender, reconsidering career paths as a jungle gym rather than a ladder, mentorship, career decisions related to family and shared parenting between partners. Sandberg founded the nonprofit LeanIn.org in 2013, the year the book came out.
