Transactional analysis explained for everyday life

Thomas A. Harris's book was first published in 1969 in the United States by Harper & Row, and Jonathan Cape issued the UK edition in 1970 as The Book of Choice. It presents transactional analysis (TA) as a method for addressing personal challenges and draws on Wilder Penfield's brain-stimulation reports and Eric Berne's ideas. It describes three ego states, Parent, Adult and Child, and four life positions, including I'm OK, You're OK. The final chapters address morality, religion and the social issues of the time.
